Shining Star Kids

Shining Star Kids is a Path to Quality level 2 home daycare located in Hammond, Indiana. We are members of NAEYC.

At Shining Stars, children are encouraged to be respectful, kind, and honest. When they display these character traits, they receive mountains of praise.

We are committed to providing our children with quality care. We enjoy contributing to children’s growth and development. At Shining Star Kids, we engage in ongoing education and play with activities that include suggestions from our children.

We believe the home environment allows children to feel more comfortable when they are away from family.

 

At Shining Star Kids, we strive to achieve family satisfaction; We communicate with our parents to inform them of their child’s daily activity and monthly progress. We welcome input from our parents and children to make the childcare experience positive for the entire family.

 

We are here to assist in the areas of Math, English, Reading, Writing, Social Studies and Cultural History. Our children enjoy expressing themselves in the areas of Art and Music in addition to their time with sensory materials.

 

Additionally, our children learn through visual and hands on experience.
